Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the EazyTap mobile application and services operated by Ishana Innovations (operating EazyTap) (“EazyTap”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using EazyTap, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using EazyTap services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be legally bound by them.

2. Services

EazyTap is a technology platform that connects riders seeking transportation with independent driver-partners in Bengaluru, Karnataka. EazyTap is not a transportation company and does not provide transportation services directly. Drivers are independent contractors, not employees of EazyTap.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• One person may only maintain one active account
• Accounts are non-transferable

4. Rider Terms

4.1 Booking

• Rides must be booked through the EazyTap app only
• You must be present at the pickup location within reasonable time
• You may cancel rides subject to our Cancellation Policy
• You are responsible for the accuracy of pickup and drop locations

4.2 Conduct

• Treat drivers with respect and courtesy
• Do not carry prohibited items including weapons or illegal substances
• Maximum passenger limit per vehicle must not be exceeded
• Seatbelts must be worn at all times
• Smoking, alcohol consumption, and eating are prohibited in vehicles

5. Driver Terms

• Drivers must maintain valid driving license and vehicle documents at all times
• Vehicles must meet EazyTap safety and quality standards
• Drivers must complete EazyTap onboarding and verification process
• Drivers are independent contractors responsible for their own taxes
• Drivers must maintain minimum rating standards set by EazyTap

6. Fares and Payments

• Fares are calculated based on distance, time, and applicable surge pricing
• Payments are processed through Razorpay payment gateway
• Accepted payment methods: UPI, cards, net banking, and cash
• Receipts are provided digitally after every trip
• EazyTap retains a platform commission from each fare
• Disputed fares must be reported within 24 hours of trip completion

7. Ratings and Reviews

Both riders and drivers are rated after each trip. EazyTap reserves the right to deactivate accounts that consistently receive low ratings or violate community standards.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not use EazyTap to:

• Transport illegal goods or substances
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Manipulate the app, pricing, or rating system
• Create fake accounts or bookings
• Violate any applicable Indian law or regulation

9. Limitation of Liability

EazyTap provides a technology platform only. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EazyTap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific trip giving rise to the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
